Help us improve our adult social care web pages

Who can take part 

We’re looking for people to help us with some adult social care web page research.  

You can take part if:

• you're 18 and over
• you currently provide caring support in a non-professional capacity to a vulnerable adult who is resident in the Bristol area 
  
  

Types of caring support

Caring support can include:

• practical support like cooking, cleaning, ironing and managing finances 
• personal care such as bathing, dressing and giving medication 
• emotional support such as listening, advocating, problem-solving or just being there for someone
• liaising with social care organisations such as organising care, or referring someone for care or support 
  
  

What the research will involve 

We'll invite you to take part in either a video meeting or in-person meeting, depending on your preference. 

The research will be on a week day between 24 August and 11 September 2026 and will last about 1 hour.

It will include talking about your experience of providing caring support to a vulnerable adult in Bristol and how you think the adult social care web pages could improve this. 

You’ll receive Love2Shop gift vouchers for taking part:

• £30 for an online session
• £40 for a session at City Hall

We’ll use your feedback to improve our online adult social care experience. 

How we use your data 

All your responses will be treated confidentially. Only the researchers involved in this project will have access to your responses. We may keep them for up to 12 months.
