Apply for a Parks Business Licence

This form is only for new licence applications. If you already have an active licence and you want to renew it, email parks.business@bristol.gov.uk

You can apply for one licence per application.

Licences are issued to businesses, but must be assigned to a named individual. 

Multi-park licences are available for outdoor activities only and are not applicable to Clifton and Durdham Downs.

Dog walking licences are valid for one park or green space only.

Outdoor activities on Clifton and Durdham Downs

There may be a different pricing structure and requirements for businesses that run outdoor activities solely on Clifton and Durham Downs. Applications are not yet open and details will be announced soon.

What you'll need to complete this form

You'll need to upload:

• photo ID (must match the name of the person who will be listed on the licence) such as: 
  • current valid passport for any country
  • current full or provisional photo card driving licence 
• first aid certificate, for outdoor activities only (must match the name of the person who will be listed on the licence)
• risk assessment (see risk assessments, templates and examples on the HSE website): your risk assessment should consider risks specific to each park you’re applying to operate in
• public liability insurance certificate: if you're a new business and you do not have insurance yet, you can email this after your licence application is approved
