Apply for a Parks Business Licence

This form is for new licence applications only.

Licences are issued to businesses. Only the named operators approved in your application and listed on your licence will be allowed to operate.

Your licence will list the specific parks or green spaces where you’re allowed to operate.

To find out which parks and green spaces are included, see Schedule 1 of the Byelaws for Pleasure Grounds, Public Walks and Open Spaces.  

We'll delete your personal information in accordance with UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) if you choose not to proceed. You'll need to reapply if you decide to run paid for activities in parks at a later date.

To complete this form you'll need to upload: 

• photo ID for the primary licence holder, such as; current valid passport for any country, current full or provisional photo card driving licence  
• First Aid Certificate (if service offered is a fitness activity); must match the name of the primary licence holder 
• risk assessment; which should consider the specific risks in each park you’re applying to operate in, see risk assessments, templates and examples on the HSE website
• public liability insurance certificate; if you’re a new business and you do not have insurance yet, you can email this after your licence is approved 
• employer’s liability insurance, if you employ people
